Being fair, however, when you had a headstrong childer as Jett appeared he could be, short of tethering them to a pole and handcuffing them, the only way they could learn control was being given the freedom they desired. Some childers needed to stick close to their Sires and even often never left their companionship. But Brujah is as Brujah was, and for this very reason, Jett probably needed a sharp eye on him or he would get more and more wayward, more and more rebellious, more and more reckless. Molly had her fingers in a lot of pies. Brujah, Primogen, lover of their Prince, and now Sire to a childer who, with his Embrace, was reinvigorated with a freedom he had been negated in his human life.

"Perhaps we are all guilty of oversight..." he soon relented. They all made a vital error that they should have more had their finger at the pulse of - they underestimated a Brujah, no matter how young he was. "You are not obligated to tell me what happened. We do not own you. However, we never wish to see you harmed either."
