muserevival Word of the Day 037
Bewilder
v. 1. to confuse or puzzle completely; perplex.
I think I need some time away. Not that I, by any means, want to give up being the Primogen of my Clan. It is an honor, and a great responsibility, and not one that I take lightly. I do not even mean to say that I want to leave so long as to miss the important goings on of the Council. But I need to get back to my roots and get my head back into line. Why? Because I'm relatively certain I'm losing my fucking mind. Because truly, what else could be the explanation for the fact that I was actually distracted from important Kindred business in a Council meeting by the very new Childer of the Brujah Primogen?
Literally moments after my arrival, the Prince's lover's Childer joined us in the Council room, and there was a moment where I thought my jaw was going to drop. If anyone had been looking at me, they would've seen the hunger, but no one really was. If they weren't looking at the Childer, they were looking at our Prince out of respect for him. He set my nerves on fire like no one has since my first feed after days in the wilderness alone when my Sire Embraced, and then abandoned me. Hunger like that... I struggled to hold onto my control, and that makes no sense. He is Brujah. I hardly know him, but that fact alone says it all. Brujah and Gangrel do not mix. In fact, most of us hate each other. So why is it that all I could think of throughout the whole meeting, even as I was listening to Thadeus speak, was stealing away into some hidden part of the building with Molly's Childer, shoving him against a wall and fucking him senseless while partaking of his blood.
After all the commotion, when the young Childer took apparently a bit too much of the blood of Xavier and his mate's Vessel, I took the opportunity to excuse myself, after which I escaped as quickly as possible on my bike to my place so I could spend some time at peace. Nature has a way of calming me and bringing me back to my center, as it does with many in my Clan.
So why the fuck is it that this time, even miles away from the City, I can't seem to get rid of the Brujah's scent?
