Ben's frustrations were very valid. It was hard for Xavier to piece all of this together, but for a Prince, he had more than just one Clan he had to keep his finger on the pulse for. The risk of a massive fall-out if anyone ever got wind that the Prince's own brother and Ventrue Primogen took a high class and internationally renowned childer against his will would be epic. It would be awful. It would probably cause a Kindred war and Ben would risk assassination and a new Prince taking over that could very well send the City down the proverbial toilet. It was why they had to tread so carefully here and any move would have to be intricately calculated to keep everything afloat. Xavier would be there to support Ben and help in any way he could, but he wouldn't do it if it risked his mateship with Greg. Greg would always come first, and Xavier needed him to keep a level head. He, himself, could be a very dangerous weapon if he lost control.
