Can I asked you something about Jett... that might make your job even harder?

There's kind of another reason I came here. But I've been scared to tell him and now the longer it's gone that I've been here, I'm worried that when I do tell him, it's going to piss him off and make all his Brujah things Hulk out. Do you think it will?

I think that all sort of depends on what it is you want to tell him. You can tell me if you feel safe in doing so.

His father died of a heart attack. Very sudden. They think the stress of his "funeral" did it, it was that night he died. Jett was all he had. He had been preparing to move to New York to nurse him because he had a lot of guilt about not doing that for his wife.

I don't think he'll be angry directly with you, but the news may trigger quite a bit of anger in him, especially if he and his father were close. If you want to tell him, I will suggest that you have me there when you do. That is completely in your court, but I say that for your sake as well as for Jett's. He deserves to know.

They were. His dad was military, it's why Jett enlisted. Though, he was Navy, but Jett used to get the worst seasickness. He'd barf every time we go on a ferry, so Army it was. His dad was amazing, I used to be so jealous he wasn't my dad. I don't know how to do it, to tell him. I don't want to hurt him.

I can tell him if you wish, but I think the blow will be hard either way, and maybe having the only friend he still has who knew his dad there will somehow soften the blow a bit? This will not be an easy thing, but having you there may at least help him to deal.

What if he gets really upset and does something stupid? Like... to Seamus.

I don't think his first instinct would be to cause Seamus harm over this, but if you fear that, I will speak to Xavier and try to ensure that Seamus stays far away from us when we speak to him.

He does like you, darling. He also likes and respects Jett, and doesn't want to cause any problems.

Well, I won't have any say in anything. It's clear Kindred priority and opinion trumps everything else.

I've spoken with Jett, and I think he may be a bit more accepting of the idea of you spending time with Seamus at this juncture, if that helps you at all.
